The evening matches seem to suit the Hutchie seniors after their good win against Whitburn last month, they managed to get three precious points against the team that took seven off them earlier in the season.
Hutchie started well and a couple of corners has the visitors on the back foot, in the 10th minute another corner was cleared but only as far as Forster who crossed into the area where Riley HASTON got to the ball first and put Hutchie one up, moments later Forster had the ball in the net only to be ruled offside, the home team went in at the break one up.
A stalemate was played out in the second half with St.Andrews enjoying the lion’s share of possession, but when they did get efforts on target they found Samuels in the Hutchie goal hard to beat, the home team had a couple efforts themselves with Haston nearly doubling his total,however a very welcome three points in the fight to stay up.
