In horrendous conditions Hutchie came away empty handed ,the very young backline,average age 18 1/2, had to defend against some very good attacking players from the home side and keeper Samual had to look smart on several occasions, Hutchie went close when Forster did well on the right and from the ,a shot from McLennan was saved and the rebound finished by Haston but it was ruled offside, in 30 mins a long ball saw the Boness left winger on a one to one he cut inside and fired a good shot into the corner of the goal..Into the second half and with the wind almost gail force, in 62 mins Ogilve made sure with an easy finish from close range from what looked like an offside position, Hutchie pressed for a goal and on 75 mins a tremendous shot from Balde from all of 25 yards struck the bar,that was the closest Hutchie came to a goal.
