5th V AC 95s home in the Kenny Mac Cup

In a match where our visitors gave everything , this was a poor performance by the Vale 0-0 half time, Jamie scored from a cross come shot and our visitors were denied by Gregor on at least 3 occasions- win 1-0

In a great match the vale more than matched our opponents and were very unfortunate when  Leith scored the only goal of the game with a scrambled effort 5 mins from time  - lost 1-0

In a match totally dominated by the vale the only surprise was that  there were no goals with their keeper being man of the match,in the last minute Rob made a good run and his shot beat the keeper but hit the post and bounced to safety ,which summed up the night ,   -draw 0-0

After going a goal down the Vale responded quickly to lead 2-1 at half time and run out with 3 more goals in the 2nd half with a below par performance – win 5-1

21st V Hutchy Colts away in the league

Line-up-gregor,connor,ally,matthew,martin,Kevin,lewis,harry,Jamie,mark,rob

Subs-chris,sean,jake,Johnny,ryan,

The Colts will look back on this game and wonder how they lost having at least 3 clear chances but missed them all and Vale scoring with their only shot on target although controlling possession the vale failed to create any other clear chances, although the pitch at the Gyle helped neither team – win 1-0

23rd V Musselburgh home- in the league

Line up –ally,connor,chris,kevin,martin,rob,lewis,harry,Johnny,jake,mark

Subs- matthew,

With both teams missing players and the Vale missing their keeper this was going to be a big ask against a very strong Musselburgh team , but a great performance by both defences resulted in no goals – draw 0-0

26th v Musselburgh home- in the Kenny Mac Cup

Line up –gregor,connor,ally,chris,martin,mark,Kevin,lewis,harry,rob,sean

Subs,matthew,Jamie,jake,johnny

With both teams at full strength this was a great match with both teams going for it and creating a great end to end match ,

Vale looked well up for the challenge and raced into a 2-0 lead  an own goal ,and Rob slid one home,  only for Musselburgh to use their height advantage at a corner 2-1, second half Vale made it 3-1 with a Jamie thunderbolt which left their keeper no chance  then another corner and a very soft penalty which the ref only gave after the nonstop appeals  from our visitors sidelines, 3-2 and with Musselburgh pushing forward Vale made it 4-2 when Kevin hammered home from distance low into the corner to seal the victory – win 4-2

28th v Spartans home – in the league

Line up – Gregor,connor,chris,ally,martin,Johnny,lewis,Kevin,rob,sean,rob

Subs-matthew,ryan,jake,

Hutchie dominated the  early stages but a long clearance from Spartans landed at their midfielder who clearly handled the ball but as everyone stopped the ref amazingly waved play on so he passed to the unmarked forward who somehow managed to find the net 0-1

Although the play was all in the Spartans half it remained scoreless

Second half and after numerous substitutions and positional changes by Hutchie , Spartans took full control and went close on several occasions with Hutchie unable to create any chances ,with little passing and in some cases no passing , apart from  in the last minute the hutchie forward found himself with the only the goalie to beat from 5 yard out but shot tamely at the keeper
