Tuesday 15^th April 13s V AC Oxgangs home league

Unfortunately against a team who offered very little apart from continual punts it was amazing that Hutchie could not win this game with ease but as we know that’s football !

The first have contained little in chances but as  Hutchie pressed forward AC cleared their lines and to their credit looked the faster and hungrier in the tackle and held their own very well.

Lewis R was unlucky with a couple of half chances and after Hutchie lost possession in midfield AC broke and one pass put their forward clean through who finished well with their only shot of the half 0-1.

Hutchie pushed forward and Kevin had a good drive that just whistled wide,Jamie T had a long rang shot that also went wide, with numerous crosses just missing their targets it was beginning to look like one of those days but minutes later Lewis R turned well in the box and drove the ball past the keeper 1-1

Half time 1-1

Second half Hutchie dominated but AC always had that punt out attack threat , a free kick for hutchie was dispatched from distance by Jamie C high into the net 2-1

Then the sucker punch ACs best move as they broke out they passed the ball through and despite the last ditch challenges he chipped it over Jordan , 2-2.

Hutchie went for the winner Jamie C had a good run in the box but couldn’t finish it off, Lewis R had a couple of half chances Kevin hit the post, in the last minute Jaxon had a great chance but unfortunately shot straight at the keeper.

Jordan had to be alert as he came out well to block a rare AC attack
