On a
lovely morning the conditions were perfect for the
match to begin, the whistle went and Hutchie were on the attack immediately
with shots going in.
Seton
had a very tall keeper and as a low cross came in he fumbled
the ball for Jason to tap home 1-0, soon after Lewis R flashed a cross/shot in
which found its way into the net 2-0 and the signs for a convincing win and
display looked good.
Unfortunately that was the end of the scoring.
Half
Time 2-0
Second
half chances came and went with their keeper dealing with everything
, Hutchie kept pressing but the final ball and poor finishing resulted
in no more goals.
Jordan
had to make a few good clearances but Seton did not manage a single shot on
target in the match,, challenges were now flying in whether Hutchie had the
ball or not but the ref always seemed to miss them.
If
offside decisions won matches Hutchie won 23 – 2 as with almost every Hutchie
attack regardless of where the receiver was ,and in numerous examples the best
being when a pass played wide and the Seton defender approached from in front
,Seton shouted off side and the ref seemingly without looking gave them the
decision repeatedly. So much so that the Hutchie lads started to stop chasing
through balls as they knew what was going to happen.
Shame
that the game was totally spoiled but a win is a win
Full
time 2-0
Well
done lads in very trying circumstances, although it was just as hard to watch as it must have been to play in
